More of us are working remotely than ever, which has some major perks, but it can also be isolating. The Triangle area of North Carolina has been named one of the best areas for working remotely, but many of us still spend our daytime working hours cooped up at home, alone and deprived of the social contact that traditional office jobs offer.

That’s where we come in. We aim to connect location-independent professionals and help maximize the possibilities that the beautiful Triangle area can offer. We do this through daytime meetups at cafés, breweries and other interesting locations where we can plop down together with our laptops and make our work day a bit less lonely, as well as a Slack community where you can connect with other remote workers directly and plan your own activities.

We also regularly have purely social evening/weekend events where we leave the laptops at home and swap remote working notes. Finally, a few times a year we’ll take ‘co-working retreat‘ trips to other cities, where we work together by day and sightsee, socialize, skill share and party in the evening. Our local events span Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary and beyond.
